Getting started

From a clean install to your first finished video. The whole pipeline runs on your machine — FoxFlow only coordinates the steps.

1

Install the extension

Add FoxFlow to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it so the side panel is one click away. Open it on the FoxFlow side panel to begin.

2

Run the local bridge

The bridge is a small local app that drives ElevenLabs voiceover and assembles the project in CapCut. Download FoxFlowBridge, unzip it, and run it — it listens on localhost:8800.

  • Keep the bridge window running while you build.
  • Have CapCut installed — the bridge writes the finished project into your CapCut drafts.
Nothing is uploaded: images, audio and the final project stay on your computer. The bridge only talks to your local CapCut and ElevenLabs.
3

Sign in with Google in the side panel. This links your account so your daily frame limit and PRO status work in the browser. FREE gives you 50 frames a day.

4

Prepare your script

Write one line per frame — one image and one spoken line each. The script splitter turns a paragraph into clean numbered lines, and the project calculator tells you the runtime and whether it fits today's limit.

5

Build your first video

Paste your frame prompts and voiceover lines, then run the project. FoxFlow generates the frames in Google Flow, narrates them with ElevenLabs through the bridge, and assembles everything into a CapCut project you can open and finish.

If the build finishes but CapCut doesn't show the project, make sure the bridge is up to date and CapCut has been opened at least once — newer CapCut versions only list projects from their own registry, which the latest bridge writes for you.
